The Bill (Reg. No.2002-1) is aimed at regulation of the issue concerning amalgamation of the political parties by means of reorganization.
Pursuant to the Bill, "two or more political parties, registered under the established procedure, can amalgamate by means of reorganization". Moreover, "a political party, created as the result of amalgamation of two or more political parties, is to adopt its statute and program of amalgamated political party, elect its leading, and control and auditing bodies at its congress (conference)".
